Review: Col&MacArthur Armistice 1918 Watch

New from Belgian watchmaker Col&MacArthur is this new Armistice 1918 timepiece to commemorate the end of World War One. Appropriate details include the poppy, the date ‘11-11-18’ and the name of the last soldier to be killed, Private George Edwin Ellison. Also incorporated into the front are the details of the railway wagon where the end of the war was formally agreed. The back of the watch — which comes in a wooden presentation box — can be engraved as the customer sees fit, for example in tribute to a relative, or a personal message if it is being gifted.

£345 (with the option of engraving for £40) from www.colandmacarthur.com
